job description - Field Transport Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Act as focal point for all travel and transport-related matters including flight bookings, accommodation for travelling staff and servicing of taxi requests
- Supervise and coordinate field operations, including delivery schedules, dispatching, and transportation activities
- Timely planning, communication, and coordination with the requesting staff/programs regarding their travel requests
- Liaising with travel service providers for provision of travel services
- Collect and share market intelligence information that may be critical for effective provision of Travel and Transport services
- Monitor the performance of transport and travel service providers and initiate corrective actions where necessary
- Any other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisor
- Manages the fleet reporting and analysis
Requirements
- SSCE or OND in any relevant field of discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Must be of close proximity to the above named Location
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- At least an average proficiency in Ms- Word
- Experience in a Transport or Logistics Company is also an added advantage
