Academics
- A higher qualification (Bachelor's Degree / HND / IVQ Level-5) in any Science or Engineering discipline.
- Age: < 50 years.
- Gender: Male/Female.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years working as a field PACO maintenance support, technician in an oil and gas-producing field location.
- Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in SPDC terminal operations.
Skills:
Added advantage:
- Ability to troubleshoot and rectify Instrumentation faults using P&ID drawings, loop drawings and PEFS.
- Experience in operations and maintenance of Field Instrumentation devices including but not limited to Transmitters (HART). control valves, Flow meters, differential pressure transmitters, Shutdown valves, Motorized Operated Valves, and actuators (MOVs), Switches, Solenoids, loop checks.
- Experience in Yokogawa Safeguarding systems SGS maintenance.
- Field Instrumented Pneumatic / Yokogawa Centum VP DCS systems.
- Skill-level knowledge in running/managing permit systems.
- Understanding of Forcados Terminal Process Operations and control room activities.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and performs under minimal supervision
- Experience in leading and supervising others in field operations tasks.
- Experience in site project supervision and commissioning.
Soft Skills:
- Onsite Hazard identification and Risk assessment capability.
- Maintenance activity planning, contract management, spares management, turnaround management, equipment surveillance and reliability, obsolescence management of ageing facility, incident investigations, project technical and safety reviews, project management and stakeholder engagements
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Experience in Computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
- Knowledge of worksite hazard mgt and perimetry systems
- Ability to work with other professionals to carry out RCAs & AARs
- Demonstration of working across disciplines (Electrical and Mechanical)

- Ability to work under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Field PACO Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Lead a team of PACO technicians to deliver simple and complex activities in the plant.
- Sustained asset integrity. Revamped Pakscan MOV monitoring and control system.
- Override management,
- Maintain reliable Electronic systems and their interfaces, Field instrumentation, DCS/SGS, and PCD-IT equipment in the Terminal.
- Safely execute minor improvement projects: DCS upgrade and restoration of reliable LACT unit for crude export
Work Cycle:
- The work location is a swamp field based in the West Shell Facilities accessible via water and Air.
- The job activity period is daily on a 12-hour (7 am to 7 pm) routine over 21 days.
- There is a standard 3-weeks on and 3-weeks off schedule.
- The successful candidate will manage their absences with his/her contractor for suitably qualified covers.
- There may be a need for periodic visits to Shell industrial area for training and official assignments.
- Personnel may be required to work extended hours as the need may arise.
