Responsibilities
1. Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.
2. Contribute to planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, development and implementation of systems and software applications
3. Development and management of APIs.
4. Assist in developing high-level designs of systems
5. Testing and evaluating new software.
6. Troubleshooting, debugging and identifying areas for modification/improvement in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
7. Writing and implementing clean and efficient code based on specifications
8. Working closely with other developers, and business and systems analysts.
9. Development of software quality assurance procedures
10. Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
11. Responsible for integration of software components with third-party programs
12. Preparing reports on programming specifications, activities, or status.
13. Responsible for creating technical software documentation for reference.
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer/BI developer.
- +3 years of SQL & production level python development - a must.
- Knowledge of RDBMS solutions ( DB2, Oracle, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB)
- Excellent SQL skills
- Excellent data analysis and system evaluation skills, defining experiments to lead product decisions.
- BSc or BA in Computer Science or a similar degree, or alumni of an IDF technology unit
- Data processing / Web scraping experience - big advantage.
- Experience with working with various database engines (relational, document storage, key-value) - big advantage.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
