job description - DevOps Engineer
- We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our goal of migrating our website to Microsoft Azure with at least 99.99% uptime.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with the LAMP stack and a solid understanding of Azure and its services.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure on Azure, including load balancing, and managed databases.
- Create and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate the deployment of code and infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the website on Azure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the Azure environment.
- Participate in the migration process and ensure that the website is properly configured on Azure.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Strong experience with the LAMP stack.
- Solid understanding of Azure and its services.
- Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
