- We are looking for an entry clerk who can handle tasks relating to entering and updating data in a computer system.
- They must ensure that the company’s database is accurate and up to date.
- They must be computer savvy and a fast typer with a great eye for detail.
- The entry clerk role is an important one as the whole company is relying on the individual to have accurate and up to date data that can be easily accessed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Transfer data from hard copy data to computer files or database systems
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Update existing data daily
- To be able to recover data from database/files when requested
- Sort and organise paperwork after transferring digitally to ensure that it is not lost.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 1 year of work experience.
- Previous experience as a data entry clerk
- Fast typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to use office equipment and computer hardware devices
- Great eye for details
- Excellent written and oral communication.
