job description - Customer Relations Officer


  • We are looking to employ someone who enjoys interacting with customers and is computer literate for the post of our customer relations officer.

Roles

  • Add customer to after sales support after the free support period
  • Call customers after the completion of their software implementation to find out if they are having any challenges
  • Call customers after the completion of their software implementation to gauge their satisfaction level
  • Monitor customer subscriptions to identify overdue payments.
  • Call customers to remind them of upcoming renewal, before their subscription is due.
  • Follow up with customers after their payment is due
  • Advise customers on their various payment options
  • Conduct collections process on each customer that includes; phone calls, emails and text messages. 
  • Develop collection methods that bring in revenue and ensure full payment of subscriptions.
  • Negotiate payment plans and schedules.
  • Process payments.
  • Keeping accurate records and reports on collection activities.
  • Work with the support team to resolve customer complaints. 
  • Work with management to improve processes

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc from a reputable institution
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
