Core responsibilities will typically include:

• Collaborating with the CEO to forge and then implement technical strategies and efficiencies that leverage strategic and commercial business drivers
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure optimal delivery, while identifying strengths that maximize opportunities and removing any inherent weaknesses
• Coaching, developing, and leading on all programs and services, as well as broadening and deepening company capacity for strategic analysis, planning, and program budgeting
• Constructing and controlling operational budgets, financial plans, cash flow, investment priorities, policies, and internal controls
• Communicating core and critical financials and issues to Senior Management, Board members, and committees
• Commit to promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality

Ideal Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as COO or similar within a successful start-up
• A Financial (or Software Development) background, ideally within digital or Fintech, leading and managing teams
• Demonstrable achievements of growth within a start-up, financial targets %
• Excel at working cross-functionally, thinking strategically, and providing practical guidance
• Excellent project, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, an analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• A persuasive communicator and public speaker
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure
