- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installer/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure the security and safety of our clients' premises.
- The CCTV Installer/Technician will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality CCTV solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Mount and secure cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other related equipment.
- Ensure proper routing and organization of cables for a clean and professional installation.
- Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cameras, recording devices, and network connectivity.
- Provide timely and effective solutions for identified problems.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Update firmware and software as needed to address security vulnerabilities and enhance system capabilities.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations.
- Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Create detailed documentation for clients outlining system specifications and operating instructions.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years experience.
- Certification in CCTV installation and maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Installer/Technician.
- Familiarity with a variety of CCTV systems, cameras, and accessories.
- Proficient in the installation and configuration of CCTV systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts related to CCTV installations.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
