Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A First Degree in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, Business or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a business development manager in container transportation.
• Have an existing network of contacts with critical stakeholders within the port of operation.
• Have an existing portfolio of clients for container transportation.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and under pressure
• Proactive with great attention to details
• Good computer knowledge (tech-savvy), mail etiquette and demonstrable knowledge of MS Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
