job description - Business Development Executive

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization, specifically for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to capitalize on market trends and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and prospecting activities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our products or services as solutions to their challenges.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our products or services to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements, to close deals and secure new business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build industry connections and promote brand awareness.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-4 years proven experience in same or similar role.
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and overcome objections.
