job description - Assistant Account Manager

  • Plan and evaluate all accounting procedures and policies to ensure transactions are accurately and completely captured.
  • Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable and payable balances on a weekly basis.
  • Asset management (Posting of monthly depreciation, amortization and disposal).
  • Follow-up with banks for excess charges detect in the course of reconciliation.
  • Preparation of budget and monitoring.
  • Attending to tax-related issues and audit inquiries.
  • Ensuring all documents and their respective supports are filed appropriately.
  • Tracking all receivables and liaising with appropriate departments for collections.
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Payroll preparation and ensure payment are made as at when due.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification and must be ICAN Certified.
  • 3 - 5 years work experience.
