job description - Agency Manager
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating all aspects of an agency. They work with agents and clients to ensure that targets are met, relevant policies and guidelines are upheld, and customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Operations at individual branches of an insurance company or another type of agency
- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Manage, supervise and train Retail Sales Agent.
- Implement sales initiatives within the Agency sales team.
- Achieve business targets in terms of volumes (NOP), market share and profits across all business segments.
- Maintain and manage relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Researching and recommending new opportunities, profit and service improvements.
- Monitor sales activities, product needs, and service requirements.
- Proven experience in sales and managing customer relationships.
Requirements
- University Degree and HND, a Postgraduate Degree will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Financial services, insurance industry.
- Ability to build a sales team to achieve or exceed sales target.
- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in using basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft suite, word, excel etc)
- Should have a passion for Sales & Business set up
- Must possess a strong combination of sales and relationship management skills.
- Must have excellent presentation skills and must be efficient in using basic computer applications- Microsoft office suite.
- Must be result oriented.
