job description - Account Payable Officer
- Ensure prompt processing of all requests (approved payment requests of vendor invoices and employee related advances) for the Company and its subsidiaries within established time limits and within confines of the Firm’s policies. This should include the underlying steps of:
- Recording transactions in the appropriate SPV and project
- Ensuring that the appropriate account heads are charged.
- Ensure that relevant taxes are accurately accounted for on treating vendor invoices. This should include classification and application of appropriate rates. All l regulatory payments and taxes are (PAYE, VAT, WHT) processed within stipulated period as set by the authorities

- Ensure that specific reports such as un-presented cheques, schedule of outstanding invoices, etc are available on demand to enhance efficient cash planning.
