job description - Account Manager

  • Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
  • Produce month-end and year-end journals
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

Competence / Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 5 - 10 years of work experience.
  • HND or Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or other related fields
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • A professional member of ICAN, ACA, or other audit bodies is desirable.
  • Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Decisive and committed.
