JOB TITLE: Collections Officer

JOB LOCATION: Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• Connect with our customers through phone calls, emails, and personal interactions to understand their readiness and capability to make payments.
• Keep track of your daily activities, including the number of calls made, successful contacts, payment promises made, and those kept, all using the Bank’s designated Collections system.
• Work together with customers to create effective payment plans and settlements that help keep their accounts on track.
• Address customer objections and complaints with professionalism, coordinating with relevant departments as needed to find resolutions.
• Look into and resolve any discrepancies in customers’ payment schedules and repayment methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Preferred: 12 months and above experience in consumer loans operation, if possible in a call center  or in a similar collection center function.
• Customer service and communication skills
• Finance knowledge and experience with payment processing systems
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
