JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

Sales Leadership & Team Management:
ADVERTISEMENT
- Manage a team of sales officers, providing strategic guidance to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Implement sales training programs to improve team performance and ensure that sales objectives are consistently met.
- Create a motivating environment, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive the adoption of solar energy systems.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activity within the renewable energy sector.
- Ensure alignment between sales strategies and company growth objectives, regularly adjusting tactics as needed.
Market Expansion & Channel Development:
- Manage and expand sales channels, including partnerships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers for solar energy products.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the region to facilitate business growth.
- Identify potential new markets and develop entry strategies for solar energy and other products.
Frequent Travel & Territory Management:
- Travel regularly to meet clients, develop new business, and support sales efforts in key territories.
- Effectively manage regional sales territories, ensuring comprehensive coverage of target markets.
- Monitor market conditions, assess potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Track and evaluate the performance of sales activities, providing regular reports to senior management on team performance and sales forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to drive decision-making and improve future sales strategies.
- Provide insights into customer feedback, market trends, and product demand to inform product development and marketing efforts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely follow-ups, and addressing any sales-related issues.
Sales Target:
- The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations focusing on the Business-to-Business (B2B) Distribution channel.
- This role requires extensive experience in team leadership, sales strategy execution, and channel management.
- The Sales Manager will lead sales efforts, working closely with a team to achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with 3 – 5 years of work experience.
Salary
N250,000 Monthly, plus other allowances.
