JOB TITLE: Blending Officer

JOB LOCATION: Apapa, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• To oversee high-quality fertilizer blending process, and operations with the precise ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients.
• Providing effective solutions to farmers and maintaining consistency across the company standards, in alignment with established objectives. 

The Job

• Monitor blending processes to maintain the correct formulation and quality of fertilizer products that meet farmers. 
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards for increased yields. 
• Investigate and resolve any quality issues that arise during the blending process. 
• Implement process improvement method to enhance production output. 
• Coordinate with the Dispatch/Supply Chain department to ensure timely availability of raw materials. 
• Monitor raw material, finished goods and packaging material inventories. 
• Lead and supervise a team of blending operators, providing guidance and support. 
• Prepare and maintain production reports. 
• Collaborate with other departments, including Dispatch & Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and outstation plants, to ensure seamless production operations. 

Requirements 

• B.Sc. in Agriculture or any other related course. 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 
• Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
