JOB TITLE: Quantity Surveyor

JOB DETAILS;

• We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of exciting projects.

Job Description

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
• Monitor and control project budgets and costs to ensure that projects are completed within financial parameters.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Manage contracts and subcontractors, ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and services.
• Advise on project feasibility, risks, and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and valuation reports.
• Assess and negotiate variations and changes to contracts.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid analysis.
• Support the team in maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Membership of professional body will be an added advantage.
