JOB TITLE: Fleet Control Supervisor

JOB LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• The fleet control supervisor will oversee and manage all fleet monitoring and control department ensuring efficiency, compliance and optimal performance.
• The role involves monitoring truck movements and utilizing smart lock and telematics systems to maintain control and security of the fleet.
• The supervisor will also lead the implementation of strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor fleet operations using GPS, telematics and smart lock systems to track vehicle locations and ensure security.
• Coordinate and oversee driver routes and adherence to operational timelines.
• Analyse fleet performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency’.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns and operational challenges.
• Maintain Accurate records of vehicle movements.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for fleet control management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with GPS tracking, telematics systems and smart lock devices.
• Strong Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing fleet operations.
• Clear and effective communication skills coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
