JOB TITLE: Fleet Control Assistant

JOB LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• To oversee, monitor, and optimize the daily operations of the company’s fleet, ensuring the vehicles are properly utilized, maintained, and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• The role involves coordinating drivers, tracking vehicle performance, and reducing costs while improving efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize GPS and telematics systems to monitor the real-time location of vehicles in the fleet.
• Oversee driver behaviour, route adherence, and compliance with scheduled timelines.
• Analyse fleet performance metrics and provide insights to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient fleet utilization and resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, route logs and driver activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Strong Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.
• Familiarity with GPS and telematics systems (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
• Analytics thinking to assess data and provide actionable insights.
