Partner with the best:
- As the Field Specialist – Subsea Production Systems you will provide technical onsite direction and assistance to the customer in the Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Installation of Wellheads, X-trees and other Baker Hughes related equipment within the employee’s discipline.
Responsibilities
As a Field Specialist – Subsea production systems, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and overseeing work at the a field site, providing quality service to the customer
- Providing the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
- Operating, Installing or maintenance of company and customer equipment (Wellheads, Valves, Production trees, Chokes, etc.)
- Preplanning including all logistics, tooling, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), & technical work scopes applicable to assignments
- Undertaking inventory control of necessary Baker Hughes Subsea related equipment/tool
- Coordinating the clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent level of education.
- Have experience in subsea control systems.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of Wellheads, X-trees, and subsea test trees.
- Be a natural, proactive communicator with good customer service skills.
- Have 4 years’ experience on Subsea/Surface Wellhead and Production Equipment
- Have a Mechanical / Hydraulic apprenticeship with significant offshore experience in a Surface / Subsea environment.
- Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.
