JOB TITLE: Eatery Assistant Manager

JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities

- Assist in the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Oversee daily eatery operations to ensure seamless workflow.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Address customer inquiries and promptly resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficiency and coordination.
- Assist in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- Track inventory levels, manage supplies, and reduce wastage.
- Organize team meetings to discuss performance goals and service improvements.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives for the eatery.
- Support senior management with administrative and strategic tasks.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory management and financial planning.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
