JOB TITLE: Business Development Executive (BDE)
JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers
JOB DETAILS:
ADVERTISEMENT
- Reporting directly to the procurement director, the individual manages procurement business development for the company.
- She will implement and maintain procurement processes and business initiatives, including sourcing potential vendors, evaluating vendor capabilities, tender process management, and ensuring satisfactory delivery of services.
Key Roles
- Develop top-notch marketing and business strategies to enhance the company’s potential.
- Identify medium and long-term business opportunities for the company, through networking, cold calls, and other lead-generation activities.
- ender management including sourcing of materials and contract negotiation with key suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on the ability to enhance efficiency.
- Develop an overall vendor base that creates and sustains competitive advantage, utilizing global market exploitation and leveraging technologies.
- Processing purchase orders, ensuring quality compliance and delivery schedules.
- Meet/exceed your company work targets while maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on market trends and client feedback to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in business development, or a similar role within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of the procurement industry, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and excellent presentation skills.
Salary
N250,000 Monthly. (Gross) Not more than the mentioned amount depending on your experience.
