JOB TITLE: MEAL Coordinator
JOB LOCATION: Yola-South, Lamurde – Adamawa

JOB DETAILS:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MEAL Coordinator.
- The successful candidate will lead in collecting and analyzing data, conducting assessments, and providing insights to improve program performance and impact.
- The MEAL Coordinator will work closely with the team, partners, and communities to ensure accountability and learning, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to affected populations.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing MEAL plans and tools
- Collect and analyze data on program indicators and outcomes
- Conduct field visits and assessments to monitor program progress
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve program performance
- Support accountability mechanisms, such as community feedback and complaints response
- Contribute to learning and knowledge management, including documentation and reporting
- Provide technical support on MEAL to program staff.
- Contribute to proposal development and reporting.
- Monitor and report on program indicators, targets, and outcomes.
- Dashboard design to showcase weekly achievement across all indicators.
- Support all capacity building within the Organization.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, or any relevant technical qualification.
- At least 3-4 year of experience in MEAL, preferably in humanitarian context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in challenging environments and under pressure
- Fluency in English and Hausa languages
Skills:
- Good relationship management/ advocacy skills
- Must possess good data analysis, report writing, interpretation, and presentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership/mentoring skills, supervisory and good interpersonal skills
- Patient counselling.
- High level of integrity and adherence to professional ethics
- Proficiency at using Microsoft office software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organize workflow to tight timeframes
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow up on tasks to completion
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a good listener that is easy to talk to.
