JOB TITLE: Intern

JOB DETAILS:
- We are looking for people who are passionate about helping refugees and people forced to flee.
- If you are one of those people, the Norwegian Refugee Council in Nigeria is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Logistics Intern to join our team in Jos, Plateau State.
- The purpose of the Logistics Intern position is to support the logistics functions and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods and services.
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines
- Implement delegated tasks according to the plan of action
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
- Ensure proper filing of documents
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
- Assist Logistics team in managing & supervising of Jos warehouse/stock.
- Ensure that all assets/equipment purchased are entered in the asset/ inventory database and fill handover (Check In & Check Out) forms before allocating or dispatching to the requester.
- Assist Logistics team to local procurement e.g. distributions of RFQ & Bid Analysis.
- Assist Logistics team in preparation of Vehicle Movement plan for Pick & Drop for rental Vehicle on a monthly basis.
- Ensure proper filing and scanning of Logistical documents.
- Performs other duties when required and given by the line manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from Business Administration, Engineering, diploma or certification from other relevant field is required
- No work experience is required
- Good computer skills – Ms Office & database.
- Good communication skills.
- Relevant training can be an advantage
