Quality Control Analyst at Flour Mills

JOB TITLE: Quality Control Analyst 

JOB LOCATION: Apapa, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• To ensure that finished products for dispatch meet with standards set by the government and customer requirements. 

The Job 

• Ensure that the company and group products meet both the external and internal quality requirements.  
• Ensure compliance and surpass customer expectations.   
• Supervise laboratory assistants to follow standard operation procedures.  
• Ensure laboratory sanitation are met to yield effective results.  
• Responsible for stocktaking of laboratory equipment and reagents for record keeping.   
• Carry out rheological analysis of flour products.   
• Run daily proximate analysis of all company’s products.  
• Conduct, monitor and report shelf life of the company’s products.   
• Create and manage external and internal check sample program and laboratory checks.  
• Prepare chemicals and run protein analysis. 

The Person Must 

• Have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures.  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team   
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Be familiar with auditing standards and regulations 
• Have an understanding on risk management

Qualification

• Degree in Chemistry / Food Science and Technology. 

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience FMCG Industry. .
