job description - Heavy Equipment Operator
- Looking to hire multiple Heavy Equipment Operators for a large civil construction company. *
- Description:* Our client is currently looking to add 10-15 heavy equipment operators (and pipelayers included in that number). This person will be responsible for excavating at numerous civil sites between in the Lower Mainland. This job will be performed while operating the heavy equipment (predominantly excavator). This person will be operating various types of machinery, such as excavators, dozers, front end loaders, ensure they are operating as per company safety policy. As they are likely working at hospitals, safety precautions are top priority. These operators may have to do minor repairs on equipment, as required. They will need to grease their own machines.
- Qualifications:*
- Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy equipment (a mix of everything is ideal, but excavation is top skill they are looking for)
- Must have local BC experience
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Work Environment* They will be working on active Civil construction sites across the lower Mainland. At the moment, they are working on projects predominantly in Burnaby and Vancouver.
