job description - Financial Analyst
- Generating monthly financial reporting
- Identify and analyze operational and spending variances
- Provide interpretation of key business measurements
- Translate analyses and measurements into financial decisions
- Ensure ongoing collection and analysis of cost and operating performance data
- Standard costing calculation and updates, including inventory valuation
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end close activities
- Maintain daily, monthly, annual financial reporting as well as related analysis of operational metrics
- Ensure that the Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet accounts are accurate and conform to ASPE
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in one of these preferred related fields: Accounting, Finance, Business or Engineering
- Ability to work independently, solve problems and use sound judgement
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with ERP solutions
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast changing environment
- Analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team
