JOB TITLE: Driver

JOB LOCATION: Ikoyi / Lekki, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:

• We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods or passengers to various destinations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
• This role is essential to the smooth operation of our business and involves a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting passengers or goods: Safely drive company vehicles to designated destinations, ensuring timely arrivals and the safe handling of cargo or passengers.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition. Report any issues, and arrange for necessary repairs or servicing.
• Route Planning: Follow assigned routes, taking into account traffic conditions and road regulations to ensure efficient travel times.
• Compliance with regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies while on the road.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery or transport documents.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including courteous communication with passengers or clients and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Handling Deliveries: If applicable, assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and documentation of deliveries.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring safety equipment (such as seat belts, fire extinguishers, etc.) is in place and operational.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2-3 years experience.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans).
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to use GPS or navigation systems efficiently.

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 / Month.
