JOB DETAILS:

• The Chief General Manager of Production is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production operations within Dangote Cement Group.
• This role includes the planning, coordination, and control of efficient production processes to enhance output while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage the production schedule to meet company targets and customer demands.
• Implement production best practices and oversee process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing production team.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the production budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Compile and analyze production reports for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• B.Sc / B Eng. in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 30 years of relevant experience in production management.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and project management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
