JOB TITLE: Field Service Specialist – Heavy Duty Gas Turbine
JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers

JOB DETAILS:
- As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at a field site, providing quality service to the customer.
- He/She will provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
Responsibilities
As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing in autonomy the Installation and/or Maintenance activities on LT-16 gas Turbined, PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001, and other Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Site.
- Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Baker Hughes Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
- Providing Technical supervision and advisory service to the Customer Representatives and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
- Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Baker Hughes Service applicable processes and procedures.
- Providing expert troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).
- Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.
Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on resume)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience mainly specialized in PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001.
- Capable of carrying out the following activities without supervision:
- Installation activities on HDGT FR 5 – 7 and LT-16 GT.
- Minor Inspection on PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001
- Hot Gas Path Inspection on PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001
- Major Inspection on PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001
- Commissioning activities on PGT5, PGT10, MS5001/2, MS6001, MS7001
- Be able to provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
- Must have Excellent Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
- Capable to work offshore.
- Be able to travel flexibly, at short notice and be away from your home location for undefined periods of time up to 70%.
